TO ALL WHO VISIT LARA
--

Our rules are:

Goreans, be yourselves.
Non-Goreans, take an
open and compliant posture.
And EVERYONE, mind your
manners in Our home.

-----
You enter this Palace into
the outskirts of the Gorean
City of Lara. In the Gorean
language the word that is
used for "stranger" is the
same word that is used for
"enemy", and so none may
enter past the protected
walls into the inner city
without an invitation by a
Citizen or sanctioned guest.

-----
The area surrounding Lara has
its own beauty, and visitors
of all levels of Gorean
experience (which includes
no experience) are welcome,
as long as they approach with
the respect one gives while in
another's Home. Larans tend
to treat those who mind their
manners with civility, for one
never knows which stranger might
some day become a valued and
trusted friend.

-----
The Greek letter Lambda

" "

serves as our Home Stone's
iconic logo. This caret
symbol, or "carrot" as we
Larans affectionately refer to
it, graces the nameplates of
every Citizen and the collers
labeling every slave of Lara,
so it is easy to tell the
residents by a quick scan of
the User List.

-----
It is expected that Goreans
follow the customs of their
own Home Stones in the
areas surrounding the City
walls. If a Free Woman
travels from a Home Stone
where face veils are not
worn, She is free to follow
Her customs in this
semi-neutral area.

---
People new to Gor should take
a learning posture, and easily
take the direction of Larans
to best fit into the environment.
So if a fellow comes into the
palace as a cartoon duck and
resists taking a suggestion by a
Citizen (or even a slave!) to
change his avatar into something
more appropriate, he will find
himself gently escorted out via
the palace "kill" command.

---
Lara's slaves would never
put a hand on a Gorean Free
Person, but they would be
remiss in not sweeping out
obnoxious humans, toons,
sk8ers, preppies, or other
such animated "items" having
no place in Our Gorean space.

As to other information
regarding the owned properties
(slaves) within Lara and their
use, we recommend getting
better acquainted with our
posted Slave Rules.

---
Again, Our rules are:

Goreans, be yourselves.
Non-Goreans, take an open
and compliant posture.
And EVERYONE, mind your
manners in Our home.

Gor is NOT for everyone,
and Lara is not for every
online Gorean.

Aside from that,

Welcome, and Have Fun!

Psyde^,
Administrator of Lara
